Who Won The 2023 Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships?
The FIG World Trampoline Championships 2023's elite trampoline concluded today after competition that began on November 9th in Birmingham, England. This event was the 37th edition of the championships, and marked the second time Birmingham has hosted (2011), and the fifth time for England and the United Kingdom (London: 1964, 1965, 1967). Note, age-group competition is planned to continue after this elite program has ended today.
The championships feature events for men and women (and mixed) across the Olympic trampoline discipline, plus synchronized, double-mini, and tumbling. New Zealander Dylan Schmidt and Team Japan's Hikaru Mori entered 2023 as the defending men's and women's single trampoline world champions, respectively, from the 2022 edition in Sofia, Bulgaria. With competition over, Team Great Britain's 11 overall medals led the overall final standings, while Team USA's four titles earned the total gold win.. 12 national teams won at least one medal across the 14 events.
